Come see the CRHS & CRMS Drama Clubs' spring production of "Annie!"
"Annie" tells the story of a young orphan on the hard-knock streets of NYC during the Great Depression. She gets the opportunity of a lifetime to spend Christmas with Mr. Warbucks, a billionaire businessman, but must overcome the jealous clutches of Miss Hannigan, the owner of the orphanage. Luckily, the ever-optimistic Annie is hopeful that "the sun will come out" and her parents will return for her. The show features well-known songs like "Tomorrow" and "Easy Street" and stars Astryd Spence as the title character. The show also features Joey Spain as Mr. Warbucks and Natalie Foster as Miss Hannigan and a special cameo from Mr. Rob Honer as President FDR! #ColonelTOUGH

CRHS Principal Mr. Sherman, Class of 2026 Spirit Officer Jordan Poole, and CRHS Class of 2026 Advisor Mrs. Stallings represented Colonel as they went to see the Class of 1976 Time Capsule be opened! The capsule was the brainchild of Caroline County’s Council of Student Councils in 1976. The commissioners unanimously granted the students permission to bury one at the Caroline County Courthouse and agreed to attend the event, which was held on March 25th to duly commemorate Maryland Day.
Students belonging to the respective student councils of individual schools contributed items to the time capsule, and it was planted on the green, where a plaque now marks its resting place. The plaque states that the capsule is to be opened half a century after it was first put in place, specifically March 25, 2026. In the contents of the time capsule were yearbooks, photographs, and other memories from that year. The opening of the capsule starts the yearlong celebration of the country’s 250 year celebration. #ColonelTOUGH

Our CRHS National Honor Society has been hard at work contributing to our community! The junior class hosted a book drive for their spring service project. The senior class completed 500 Minutes of Service over the course of two weeks in the Colonel Care Closet. They sorted, folded, and hung clothing and reorganized the entire Care Closet! #ColonelTOUGH
