Students from Mr. Buffenmyer’s National History Day Club and AP U.S. History class recently traveled to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Arthur Sherwood Environmental Education Center in Annapolis for a hands-on learning experience.
While aboard the research vessel Marguerite, students conducted environmental surveys, tested water turbidity and salinity, explored aquatic life by pulling nets, and discussed the impact humans have on the environment.
With sunny skies and a day full of discovery, our Bulldogs had a great time learning about the Chesapeake Bay and the importance of environmental stewardship. 🌞🚤🌎
